shrimp
The term "shrimp" is an informal term for a wide variety of certain crustaceans, more often than not decapods, though not always. How broadly the term encompasses varies in some fields, but in general usage tends to refer to the most broad use of the term that includes non-decapods. The use of this group is for the sake of convenience, similar to other informal tags such as jackal and kangaroo.
