A species of deer, also known as the caribou, found in the northernmost reaches of the world. Both sexes can grow antlers and they are often associated with Christmas because of the legend that Santa Claus rides a sleigh pulled by magical flying reindeer. Unlike most deer, both male and female reindeer have antlers.
