guts
While gut can be used to refer to the stomach or belly, it's more commonly used to describe the internal organs of a character or creature. Most frequently, 'guts' refers to the digestive tract--stomach and intestines, though other internal organs may be featured as well. Generally speaking, the guts are what is normally hidden inside of a person. Often, when guts are featured, there is gore and blood. Related tags
