disembodied head
An artistic shortcut where a character's head is drawn alone, as if it was not attached to a body. It's meant to be understood that their head has not actually been severed or otherwise removed. Often used to interact with other characters in solo focus images. Note When a picture contain exclusively a disembodied_head and nothing else, it is a headshot portrait.
